Construction Joint resin injection in a commercial unit
Resin injection using Newton PC Leakinject 2K Flex 6812 LVWork
This commercial unit was formed to house a indoor soft play and adult tag course at King Georges Playing Field, Brentwood, Essex. The development was built into the hillside and was experiencing some water seepage through the exposed construction joint.
Packers were drilled and PU resin injected to seal the edge. This was done whilst the area was in operation and required no downtime for the business.
Project Requirements
The problem of water ingress only become apparent when the equipment had been fitted and the park was due for handover. Sovereign were able to work around the main contractor and client whilst the area was in use without any closures required.
The construction joint can be monitored and resealed if required using Newton Waterproofing’s PC Leakinject 2K Flex 6812LV
